Hey Modular Furniture Lovers,

We hope you had a happy Thanksgiving! We’ve got some great news to be thankful for - our connector production is now in full swing and we have been promised the connectors will arrive from our manufacturer by early December. Because all of your boards are cut, finished, packed and waiting in their boxes for their accompanying connectors, we feel confident that your Kickstarter orders will be shipped before the end of the year!

Manufacturing Ramping Up
over 7 years ago – Mon, Aug 15, 2016 at 02:13:59 PM

Hi Backers,

I'm excited to report that we have recently made great progress towards getting you the long awaited Modos Furniture. All three of the extrusion dies have been milled, and we are now in the midst of extruding test connectors. These connectors will be checked for accuracy against the shop drawings. Once all three profiles are approved we will start mass production of the connectors.

The test connectors continue their trial and will be sent out for cutting, finishing, anodizing, laser etching and applying the intermediaries. Assuming all of those steps match the already approved finishing sample then the entire production line is a Go!

We are trying to get photos from the manufacturers, but they seem to be camera shy. We'll keep asking.

Thank you for your continued encouragement and patience. Feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions.

Best,
Team Modos
